Please Rob Me

Foursquare.com and pleaserobme.com are both sites just like twitter, but have to do with where you are and not what you are doing. I read two articles on the sites that was about people giving away their positions which could lead to them getting robbed. In the articles it is basically saying that when you tell someone you don't know where you are that's telling them that your not home and that could lead to someone going to your house and robbing you.
I get what they're saying and I myself don't give my information to people on the internet let alone where I am. I personally think it's your decision, but they should do something so it's not so public.

Pic

I picked this picture because, I like animals.
I don't like talking about my emotions but, it kind of makes me feel good.
I hope my video turns out being a peaceful picture.
Doesn't think it make you think of getting along?
I'm doing my video on animals in general.

Moving in school

In media communication class we watched a video on a study from ABC. That was about kids and moving in school increases productivity.

- What did you think about the study abc news did?
It has very good points and Our school does some of that and I think it works for some people but ,not everyone.
- Do you agree with their findings?
They have proof how can't you? (so yes...)

- How does LMA meet or not meet students need to fidget?
They have fidgets for us and understand and let us use them.
What programs are in place at LMA?
We have a censor room.

If you don't know yet, what questions might you have?
Is that the only program?

- What do you wish school and teacher better understood about the way you need to learn?
I really feel like I would get along with teachers better if they treated me more like an equal. If I feel like we get along then I can learn easier.

Edmodo

We are using a website that's called Edmodo it's basically a website where you can chat and teachers can oversee the chats and even grade you on there it's pretty cool I guess.

Ok on your blog you are going to give a review of EdModo
- How could this be used in the classroom?
To send links, to copy, and not having to talk across the room.

- Would this enhance class discussion or distract from it?
I think a little of both But, it would be more beneficial if we did use it more.

- Do you think EdModo could catch on in large classrooms?
Yes because its basically texting and people do that in school all the time.

- How would it help or distract you as a learner?
It would make it easier to follow along with things by just being able to go back to see what you missed.

Blog #5

This blog is a topic that directly relates to me. The blog is about the end of a free demo on the PlayStation 3. It's called Uncharted 2 and it was a very fun game. Yet some people are angry that they ended the demo just because, the game came out. Many other games have came out with demos and they keep them but, this one was a bit different it was a beta. A beta is a experiment of a game that still isn't fully completed. I understand why they got rid of the demo because it was a beta but, still over 17,000 people were enjoying the game all at once.

Matt Blog 4

To improve my blogs I plan to try to lay out the text better so it's easier to read. I also will try to write more but, I'm not too good at expanding things. I will try to explain things better.

Week 3 blog

My opinion on web conferences is it's quite useful for people accost the states. It was useful that they could help each other with video and audio they could even talk back and forth.
There was downsides if something wasn't working the person couldn't physically help them. They would have to tell them what to do and if they're not to good with directions or computers they could easily get lost. You also could miss hear them and make a mistake then get lost. It would be better if everyone had a web cam and could show what they're doing to each other to catch mistakes.
